Contributions Received by House Members from BCBS in 2007

This is one of two analyses I did of BC/BS contributions to members of the Michigan House of Representatives for the year 2007. This one was done from campaign reports submitted by the representatives (actually, their campaign committees). The other was done from BC/BS PAC reports. Since the reporting schedules for independent committees and candidate committees are not the same, the period covered by this analysis is 11/28/06 through 12/31/07. The analysis of the BC/BS reports covers the period 10/21/06 through 10/20/07.

This analysis shows total contributions from BC/BS of $94,800 for the period 11/28/06 through 12/31/07.  Party affiliation (R or D) is in the P column; sponsors for each bill 5282-5285 are identified by an S in the Sp column; how the representative voted (Y or N) on each bill is in the Vote column; total contributions received in 2007 from Blue Cross/Blue Shield are in the Amount column; and the date of the last contribution received in 2007 is in the Date column (some representatives received multiple contributions).
